How Can We Save the Amazon? with Marina Silva

Please join us on October 15, 2020 at 2:30pm for our first lecture of the new academic year. We are very excited, together with our co-sponsors – the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management, the Environmental Studies Program, the Interdisciplinary Humanities Center, and the Global Studies – to welcome Marina Silva, Former Minister of Environment of Brazil! Silva is a lifelong advocate for the Amazon and the First Nations. Simultaneous interpretation from Portuguese into English will be provided.
