Jennifer Amador

Bio:

Hi All! My name is Jennifer Amador and I am a graduate student in the LAIS Program. I am super excited to be back at my alma mater (UCSB ’16). My interests are within culture, history, language, education and travel. For my research, I want to address the ways in which institutions of higher education can introduce culture, especially Latin American culture, to students and how to encourage student participation in study abroad programs in Spanish speaking countries. As an undergraduate student, I was intrigued by the interdisciplinary approach to learn about Latin America through multiple disciplines and I wanted my graduate program to allow me that same flexibility.
